Fabia Zindel - Matrix

Fabia Zindel creates screen prints for foulards and other products with the Matrix label. All models are handmade in the company's own screen printing shop in the Bachletten quarter. At Matrix, everything is 'Made in Basel'.

Since the founding of the Matrix label, 36 collections with 386 different designs have been created. This exhibition at Ramstein Optik shows a small part of the archive. There are designs from the early days, specialities such as prints on special knitted fabrics, or technically sophisticated prints where fineness and fabric interact. Whereas in the beginning the prints were still unique, Fabia Zindel now prints very small series of a maximum of 25 pieces per colour and pattern.
